How to find the OS type and the OS version PAM is using on a specific supported version of PAM ?

Environment

Release : 4.x and All Supported PAM versions

Cause

Request For Information (RFI) for PAM's OS type and version

Resolution

1. Log on to - https://techdocs.broadcom.com/ -  with your credentials. On the search window below provide the Product as "Privileged Access Manager"

2. Once logged in and on the Product Page say as this case for PAM version 4.1.1 below, use the pull down menu to navigate to a specific PAM version as in this case 4.0.1

3. Once on say PAM 4.0.1 version page,  scroll down to "Third-Party License Acknowledgements"  area and then click on that area.

4. This page below tells us that for PAM version 4.0.1, PAM uses Debian 9.6,
