Error "cannot uninstall agent version" when running Mac DLP uninstall agent

Issue/Introduction

Uninstalling the Mac agent fails and the uninstall log shows the following message:

" uninstall agent tool version 15.8.00000.19012 cannot uninstall agent version 15.8.00100.01075"
Or:
"uninstall agent tool version 16.0.20000.60666 cannot uninstall agent versions 16.0.00200.60415"

 

Cause

Agent uninstaller is different than the version of the installed agent.

Resolution

Use the agent uninstall utility that matches the version of the installed agent.
