Issue/Introduction

When an Administrator tries to reset the SDM scoreboard for a Role, an error is received: "This action is not permitted for Role Scoreboards". 

 

Environment

Release: 14.1 or higher
Component:  CA Service Desk Manager

Resolution

This is by design.

Scoreboards can be reset only by the logged in user and it cannot be done for a SDM Role.

Therefore, the users need to reset their scoreboard individually from the "Customize Scoreboard" page and select the "Reset Tree" button.

There is no Global reset because individual custom scoreboards would be lost.

On clicking the "Reset Tree" button, the contact's User_Query entries are reset to that of their Access Type's entries.

Therefore, if the Role Scoreboard was to change again after the Reset Tree, the user would not see the new changes.
