XPSSweeper Report - Duplicate Attribute Errors: xx conflicts detected

Issue/Introduction

When running XPSSweeper, an error is returned, "Duplicate Attribute Errors: xx conflicts detected".

The same partnership name appears in the Admin UI in both Partnerships:

Partnerships (Federation > Partnership Federation > Partnerships)

SAML Service Providers (Federation > Legacy Federation > SAML Service Providers)


Attempting to modify the partnership, you receive an error that the name already exists.

After removing the SAML Service Providers entry, you still cannot modify the normal partnership record.

Release : 12.8.x

Cause

This issue can be caused by using a third-party tool to migrate policy store data from one store to another.

Resolution

Create a duplicate of each federation partnership with a new name and then delete the original federation partnership, which also removes the legacy partnership with the duplicate name.
