Issue/Introduction

 The client would like to know how  to implement the SECCACHE Control Option for performance reasons in a shared security file environment.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Environment

 Product: CA Top Secret for Z/OS  

Resolution

Set the SECCACHE Control Option in the CA Top Secret Parameter file (TSSPARM0) 

          Important! The SECCACHE control option parameters are positional, they must be entered in the order listed. 

All entry methods are accepted.

This control option has the following format:

SECCACHE(SIZE= mmmm ,INDEX= nnnnnn ,EXP= hhh ,WARN= ppp )

SECCACHE(CLEAR,EXP= hhh | acidname )

SECCACHE(STATUS)
