Error when trying to create a Change Window in Service Desk Manager (SDM)

Issue/Introduction

When creating a maintenance window in change, the following error appears

 

The window duration is greater than the selected recurrence pattern. Adjust the Start Date and End Date times, or choose another recurrence pattern

Environment

Release : 17.3

Resolution

The problem is that the start date and end date are not set for the same day (take more than 1 day), so the "Daily" recurrence pattern can't be used.

Here is the definition of the Daily Recurrence Pattern:

Specify either the number of days between recurrences, or that the window should recur every day.

In order to occur every day, the window should occur within the day. Example:

To use the Daily recurrence pattern, you would need to change the end date so it finishes the same day. Another option would be to change the recurrence pattern.
