Issue/Introduction

When using the ROLL: N function on the CA 7 CPU JOB SCHEDULING PARAMETER EDIT (DB.2.1-E) screen, a SCHID should schedule even non-available scheduling days if applicable. However, when using the DAILY option on this screen, the ROLL: N does not work.

Resolution

When you choose the DAILY option on the DB.2.1-E screen, a schedule is created for the job that matches the calendar used. No non-schedule days are considered.

If you want the job to run every day of the week regardless of whether it is available on this calendar, use ROLL: N and a WEEKLY schedule:

 __ X __ WEEKLY    SUN: X  MON: X  TUE: X  WED: X  THU: X  FRI: X  SAT: X
