After Gen HE upgrade, CEJOB09 fails with SQLCODE -811

Issue/Introduction

During the Gen 8.6 HE upgrade, CEJOB09 failed with SQLCODE = -811 ERROR,  PROCEDURE WHERE ERROR OCCURRED: TIEMAX .   

 

Environment

Release : 8.6

Cause

The customer created a new 8.6 host encyclopedia, was following the instructions from Populate A Host Encyclopedia, ran the table unloads, then loads, and when they ran CEJOB09, it failed. They had not used REPLACE and this had resulted in duplicate rows in the DMAX table.
                                            

Resolution

 
Perform the following steps:
 
1) Delete all rows from the DMAX table.
2) Rerun CEJOB09, being sure to have populated ENCYNAME('') and ENCYID() values in the JCL.
