http 500 error when trying to open a session with NIM (CA Normalized Integration Management for Service Management)

Issue/Introduction

http 500 error, but at least the TLS handshake got completed apparently.

Thought when trying to open a session with NIM using https://aaw10.sysplex.prod.com.au:8888/ca-nim-sm/ui/configurations.jsp

receive the 500 error. Cannot find full TLS session from SMF 119 subtype 11 and 12 records after that.

Resolution

Issue was due to the TAMz STC Logonid including the character $ which in USS was seen as variable.

Had to put the user SSD$TAM into quotes in both the line corresponding to the keyring name (TAMENV and TAMJVM) and the WEBINF_PATH export in TAMENV.

Fixing only the kerying line was fixing the TLS issue but blocked with HTTP 500 error.
