Issue/Introduction

Trying to run endpoint detection or other detection on Facebook or Instagram Messenger. 

Environment

All environments. 

Cause

Facebook and Instagram Messenger have end to end encryption. 

Resolution

Because Facebook and Instagram Messenger have end to end encryption we cannot extract content from these messages to run detection on. DLP cannot run detection on these messages.
