In Modern UX – the Lookup being used to Select Transaction Class does not have the Description

Issue/Introduction

In Modern UX – the Lookup being used to Select Transaction Class does not have the Description.

Users need to be able to see this data to make sure the appropriate class is being selected

MUX – Custom Investment Cost Plan (Lookup does not have Description)

However, Classic – Project Cost Plan creation. Lookup has Description.

Environment

Release : 16.0.3

Resolution

In order to add Desciption so it will appear in MUX, follow below steps:

1. Navigate to Data Administration->Lookups

2. Serach for "Browse for Transaction Classes", this is the lookup behind Transaction Class

3. Click on Auto Suggest tab

4. Add Transaction Class Description to the Attribite Suggestion List Display and you can remove Transaction Class Short Description.
