soitoolbox got a "localhost" error for stopAllservices command after system was upgraded from CU2 to CU4

Issue/Introduction

Got the following error message when running the stopAllServices command on CU4.  Please see attachments for soitoolbox.cfg file and the command outputs

Command: soitoolbox.exe -x --stopAllServices

Error message:

Stop all SOI services on all machines
ERROR: 'localhost

Environment

Release : 4.2

Resolution

We implemented a workaround and SE said they will fix the problem in the next patch.

 

The workaround:

Edit soitoolbox.cfg and this exact new line

machine=localhost;http;7070;username;password

 

NOTE: Do not change any value in that line.
