Imaging tasks not received in automation

Issue/Introduction
An imaging job is selected from the Initial Deployment menu on a machine that successfully boots into automation. When a job is selected, no task is received, no errors are visible, and only one machine seems to have been affected. Other machines are running through the same process and the task/job is received and completed successfully.
Environment
DS 8.x
Cause
In one instance of this behavior, the computer being imaged had a corrupt record in the SMP Console. This caused the job to be sent but not to a valid computer record.
Resolution
Deleting the computer record from the SMP Console and rebooting the computer back in to automation resolved this issue.
NOTE: Deleting computer records from the SMP Console should be done cautiously when trying to resolve problems. However, since only one machine was affected and correcting the behavior with the existing record using other methods was not an option due in this case to time constraints.
