Deployment of new service on vApp fails (spinning forever)

Issue/Introduction

When trying to add service to an existing machine (that already has other services)

Service was dragged and dropped to the node and the Deploy button was used.

It is spinning forever, nothing is happening.

 

Notice cluster has 2 nodes, one of which has 0 services assigned to it. Service was undeployed from the 2nd node and the expected result is to move it to the 1st node.

 

Environment

Release : 14.4

Cause

The customer was trying to deploy the service to the existing node. Due to service being moved from the 2nd node of the cluster, where the 2nd node was left without any services - the deployment failed without any error.

Resolution

Remove  2nd cluster node. Deployment should be successful after that.
