Issue/Introduction

What could cause the GSV3610E (MVSDATA) No JOB monitoring definitions found for data collection process MVSDATA-JOBS message in SYSVIEW STC output?

Release: 16.0 and 17.0
Component: SYSVIEW

Cause

Missing default definitions in MVSMON parmlib member. 

Resolution

The parmlib from the prior release was used as a SITE one and the MVSMON member has a missing below definition which is by default should be present. 

MONITOR MVS_MonitorJob                   RSCESCOPE =        INCLUDE  

After the missing definition was added SYSVIEW STC needs to be recycled.
