Is there any specific use of console cables that are included with a new or replacement PAM  hardware appliances ?

All supported Releases

Cause

Use of Console Cables provided with PAM Hardware appliance is not known.

Resolution

The console cable that is shipped with PAM Hardware appliance comes standard with the hardware from MBX systems.  

Please refer to this  link that is added to the updated KB  - Specifically the heading as "Recover the Appliance Using a Serial Cable"

This cable can also be used by PAM Support / Engineering for troubleshooting.
