Clarity Import Integration Mapping job error

Issue/Introduction

The Clarity Import Integration Mapping job has completed several times. However Integration Mappings in Rally is not there and you see error in the Clarity Job log:

Got errors while creating the value for the Custom Dropdown with the option value :(drop-down value), on Rally [Not authorized to create: AllowedAttributeValue]

Release : 16.0.3

Resolution

The Clarity job Import Mappings job will create the lookup value in the Integration Mappings field in Rally. The Integration Mapping drop-down menu list in Rally is created via:

1. Assigning the Clarity Integration User/API key  with the appropriate Rally rights. This is the user generating the API key in Rally must have at least Workspace Administrator privileges.
2. Running the Import Integration Mapping job in Clarity.

Note: Permissions in Rally are managed at the Project level. So, if a user has editor rights to the Project, they will be able to edit the Integration Mappings field values in Rally.
