Uninstall Error: XCOM Maintenance installed

Issue/Introduction

I receive following message when trying to uninstall XCOM from our Linux host:

XCOM Maintenance is installed. To continue with uninstallation, maintenance 
should be uninstalled first.

Environment

Release : 11.6

Cause

The message is caused by not having Uninstalled the patch that was installed previously to the XCOM release.

Resolution

The message is self explanatory... You will have to uninstall the maintenance that was applied to XCOM and then perform the uninstall.

To uninstall a patch you would issue command:

sh $XCOM_HOME/UninstallPatch/UninstallPatch -i silent

The command is documented in the README file that is accompanied by the patch that was installed.

Once that is done you should be able to uninstall XCOM itself.
