Portal inspection view not showing XML request body

Issue/Introduction

Using DevTest 10.7.2  GA version and trying to see in DevTest Portal-->VS-->Inspection View-->HTTP Listen--> lisa.vse.http.current.transaction.body-->Long Info shows as blank for the XML request body and shows the request fine if it is JSON body.

Environment

Release : 10.7.2

Resolution

Open a support case and request for the Smart patch devtest-patch-10.7.2.176.hf26-win-x64.exe to be applied on top of 10.7.2 GA version.

Steps to apply smart patch:

. Need to take a backup of the DevTest install folder.

. Stop the services and clear the logs (take a backup if needed)

. Run the specific OS patch (for you, it is devtest-patch-10.7.2.176.hf26-win-x64.exe) on your Portal server.

. Start the services.

Additional Information

If the Long Info string is a JSON string with <stateless> in the string, then this will not be shown correctly in the Long Info popup.
The smart patch also addresses that problem.
