Issue/Introduction

We have questions about maintaining users in v14. How do you add a user to Web Viewer V14?  The functionality does not appear to exist in the new version.  Is maintaining a user via TSO, VIEW,  DEF USER all that is needed now?

Resolution

For 14.0 Web Viewer,  the user must be defined to your security package and to VIEW. There is currently no user table in 14.0 Web Viewer. If View knows about the user, then they should be able to sign into 14.0 Web Viewer. So for 14.0 Web Viewer yes, maintaining a user via TSO, VIEW,  DEF USER is all that is needed.
