View - Metrics, blank UserID in SMF dump output, no record extraction

Issue/Introduction

We would like to track report viewing, using the View Metrics, by UserID. 

We have set SARINIT SMFTYPE=129. 

SMF records with Type 129 with subtype 30 were created, but the UserID (field SV30UIF) were blank, according to the record layout.

Resolution

It was found that the customer was using a modified SARSMFUX exit.

Upon their investigation of the source code, they found that the modifications that their SARSMFUX exit had were no longer needed. 

The customer restored the usermod, used for the exit change, back to the original usermod, and the SMF records extracted were correct and valid.
