How to fix the below error messages? 

DCI0999E: OPEN OF HIST FILE FAILED.     
DCI0999E: HISTORY REPORT SERVICE IS DOWN.

Resolution

Please check the DCI USS dir if there present subdir /hist. If it exists check the permissions, if not then please manually create it. It should solve the DCI0999E message.
