Configuring multiple Datacom in environments in a Sysplex for CA 7

Issue/Introduction

We are converting CA 7 11.3 to 12.1 which uses Datacom. We run three instances of the CA 7 Product will be adding a Datacom MUF on each LPAR in the sysplex for each CA 7.

Must we create a different CXXNAME for each LPAR? What jobs need to be run?

Environment

Release : 15.1

Resolution

The CXXNAME of each Datacom MUF has to be unique, see documentation section Datacom/AD Environment Configuration for more details.

To create a MUF run the following jobs in sequence, run these for each new MUF:

AXCUSNEW
AXAPFADD
AXRIM01
AXNEW01
AD15STRT

Then run the Installation Verification job:
AXIVP01 

Then run the CA 7 conversion steps for version 11.3 to 12.1
