User unable to resubmit jobs in CAWA

Issue/Introduction

While attempting to Resubmit a job, in an application generation, a user is getting: "User <UserName> is not authorized to use the agent <AgentName>."

 

Environment

Release : 12.3

Cause

The Agent.* Deny permission can cause the error: "User <UserName> is not authorized to use the agent <AgentName>."

Resolution

Must reconfigure permissions to allow the user/group access to jobs on all agents using:

• Agent.*

Or, reconfigure permissions to allow the user/group access to run jobs on specify agents using:

• Agent.<AgentName>
