View - Migration from CA-View r12.2 to r14.0 leads to PDF Transform failure

Issue/Introduction

We have upgraded from CA-View r12.2 to r14.0 on an LPAR where CA-DRAS and SAS/C Transformers were implemented.

As we understood, we have moved to Java Transformers, a new address space has been configured and started. 

We receive CAHASOX02 error with the Java Transformers.

Can you please help to understand what's happening ?

Release : 14.0

Resolution

The client, though upgrading to View 14.0, decided to keep DRAS at level 12.2, which matched the level of their View 12.2 database. 

DRAS code can be at a level that is higher or the same as the level of the View database. 

The CAHASOX02 errors that the client was receiving was tied to line limits of the reports being processed. 

It was suggested that the client use the following Transformer parameter settings:

 . X2YY_LINELIM=999999999
