Issue/Introduction

Executing Fast Load for Db2 for z/OS (PFL) against a simple or segmented tablespace where the object has not extended to multiple VSAM datasets,
PFL may issue the following IDCAMS messages:

IDC3012I ENTRY xxxx.DSNDBC.xxxxxxxx.xxxxxxxx.I0001.A002 NOT FOUND
IDC3009I ** VSAM CATALOG RETURN CODE IS 8 - REASON CODE IS IGG0CLEG-42
IDC0551I ** ENTRY xxxx.DSNDBC.xxxxxxxx.xxxxxxxx.I0001.A002 NOT DELETED
IDC0001I FUNCTION COMPLETED, HIGHEST CONDITION CODE WAS 8

There is no impact on the PFL execution.

Resolution

These are expected messages. PFL is checking for additional (extraneous) VSAM datasets and deleting the datasets when required.
