Why GRLoader Logs are not created.

Issue/Introduction

GRloader logs are not being generated.

There are GRLoader jobs that run and complete, but we are not seeing logs in the Service Desk logs folder.

Environment

Release : CA Servicedesk Manager 17.X.

Resolution

The GRLoader.properties file handles the logging and generates the log file according to these parameters:

appender.grloader_rolling.fileName=C:/PROGRA~2/CA/SERVIC~1/log/GRLoader.log
appender.grloader_rolling.filePattern=C:/PROGRA~2/CA/SERVIC~1/log/GRLoader.log.%i

Compare GRLoader.properties file with working server GRLoader.properties file on the same patch level.

Location: C:\Program Files (x86)\CA\Service Desk Manager\site\cfg\GRLoader.properties.
