Bad PASSWORD EXPIRES DATE

Issue/Introduction

TSS LIST(USERA) DATA(PASSWORD) shows invalid PASSWORD EXPIRES DATE for some acids which were created on different users and different security administrators.

Example:

ACCESSORID = USERA   NAME       = USERA test acid                
PASSWORD   =           EXPIRES    = 12/65/23  INTERVAL   = 512 
                                                               

The PASSWORD EXPIRES DATE is invalid.

Resolution

Please apply solution APAR LU06656 to resolve the problem which was introduced by solution LU01778 and can be dowloaded from the support.broadcom.com Broadcom Support Portal.

LU06656 - AFTER A TSS CREATE(XXXX) THE PASSWORD INTERVAL IS INVALID    

 

PROBLEM DESCRIPTION:                                                      
When creating an ACID that includes the FOR keword for PASSWORD/PHRASE,    
then the PASSWORD/PHRASE interval contains an invalid value.  For example:
                                                                           
TSS CREATE(xxxx) TYPE(USER) DEPT(xxxx) PASS(zzzz,90,EXP) FOR(x)
