UT000029 error in RESTRUCTURE to add a new pointer for a new set

Issue/Introduction

UT000038 Starting Restructure of area <segment-name.area-name>
UT000029 Record <record-name> Dbkey=9,017,002:02 out-of-sync with subschema.
Subschema Prefix=16 data=128. Database Prefix=12 data

 

Environment

Resolution

This error indicates that there was a record in the database that was found with a prefix and/or data length that does not agree with the subschema load module definition. The dbkey of the database record and the lengths used in the comparison are displayed in the message.

The RESTRUCTURE SEGMENT utility must use a subschema that describes the existing database structure, prior to the restructure.

The IDMSLOOK utility can be run for the subschema being used to verify the subschema load module.
