Issue/Introduction

LiveUpdate Administrator (LUA) suddenly stops running scheduled download tasks.  This may occur after upgrading LUA.  Running a download job manually completes as expected.

Environment

LiveUpdate Administrator

Resolution

Modifying the download job(s) which are not running on schedule will correct the issue.

  1. Login to the LUA
  2. Click on Download and Distribute
  3. Select the Download job not running on schedule, click Edit button
  4. Modify a field, adding a character to the Download Schedule "name:" field is sufficient.
  5. Scroll down and click Apply, then OK.

Next time the newly modified Download schedule is reached, the job will run as expected.
