This document explains how to remedy a S213-04 abend in CA 7 WA with an IEC143I message pointing to a CA 7 WA log file. See the CA 7 Systems Programmer Guide for more information on the log files.
LOGP and LOGS are not on the same DASD volume.
The log files for CA 7 must reside on the same DASD volume. On the CA 7 ALOG1 and ALOG2 statements in the CA 7 Initialization file (pointed to by the UCC7IN DD statement in the CA 7 online procedure) you have DSN= which names the primary (ending in P) and secondary (ending in S) data set names. If you receive a S213-04 abend in CA 7 with an IEC143I message pointing to a CA 7 log file, this usually means the log files do not reside on the same volume.
