Issue/Introduction

Agents not showing any data in metric view.

Environment

Cause

Analysis from thread dumps:

PO mailman threads are blocked on AgentBridgeService resulting in disruption in communication.

[PO:WatchedAgentPO Mailman 5] [Manager.Agent] An inconsistent state between EM and LB for agent

 

This problem is related to more agents with same name (host + process + name). It should be an edge case and the agents should be configured properly.

Resolution

Solution - increase EM's mailman count via property introscope.enterprisemanager.agent.mailmen =64 and restart EM
