Time Slicing runs for longer after the Update Earned Value Totals job

Issue/Introduction

We noticed that after running Update Earned Value and Cost Totals job (EV) the Time Slicing job is always taking longer, i.e. 15 min. vs under a minute. Is this expected? 

Environment

Release : Any releases with SQL Curves

Resolution

This is expected, because the the SQL Curves have to be recreated for the updated Cost curves.
