Old output from different job shows in new job output file

Issue/Introduction

Output for several different old and new job runs is seen in single output file.

Environment

Release : 9.3 and 9.4

 

Cause

This behavior can be seen when multiple output files with the same runid from previous system restores are placed in the $AW_HOME/out directory. If Applications Manager finds a output file with the same jobid number,  it will append the new job information to the old output file. This is as designed, and in normal scenarios there should never be multiple output files for the same jobid in a single $AW_HOME/out directory.

Resolution

Remove the old duplicate runid output files from the $AW_HOME/out directory.
