Issue/Introduction

In Applications Manager version 9.3.4 and above, launching the Applications Manager client on a Mac OS results in the following error:
ErrorMsg: AwE-9999 Internal error
Details:  null
java.lang.ClassCastException: class com.apple.laf.AquaImageFactory$SystemColorProxy cannot be cast to class javax.swing.plaf.ColorUIResource
(com.apple.laf.AquaImageFactory$SystemColorProxy and javax.swing.plaf.ColorUIResource are in module java.desktop of loader 'bootstrap')
      at com.appworx.client.screen.themes.AMDefaultMetalTheme.<init>(AMDefaultMetalTheme.java:30)
      at com.appworx.client.screen.main.AxMain.ú(AxMain.java:2813)

Cause

Caused by AM 9.3.4's change that added the ability to configure Applications Manager Main Window Color (theme)

Resolution

Workaround:
It is reported that the error message can be closed, the client login will appear, and a user can log in as usual

Solution:
At this time, the Applications Manager client is not officially compatible with Mac OS. It is recommended that users running into this issue to visit Broadcom's enhancement page and give a thumbs up to this enhancement request. Enhancement link below:
