How to test the CA 7 REST API

Issue/Introduction

Once you have installed the components listed below for a full CA 7 Rest API implementation, you can test the endpoints by using the imbedded swagger.  

1. CA 7 r12.1 + all published maintenance

2. DATACOM MUF

3. CA7RAPI - REST API server

4. DATACOM Data Server

 

 

Environment

Release : 12.1

Component : CA 7

Resolution

To access the Swagger URL, you will need to go to the install.log file located in the following directory:

<install>/7Restservices.12.1.0x/                     (where x is the version # of the CA 7 Rest API that is installed)

At the bottom of the install.log file you will find the URL. See sample statement below:
