Issue/Introduction
The VISION:Results 6.0 installation process provides 2 jobs to verify the installation is successful. RE60TEST verifies basic functions, and RE60TVSM verifies VSAM access functions. Both jobs use datasets provided with the installation, any outcome other than a zero return code is unexpected.
Some users have experienced an U0300 ABEND when executing the VSAM IVP program, RE60TVSM.
This is accompanied by error message DYL-V30E FILEIN - GET ERROR 0804
Resolution
Abend is caused by buffering software. Disable the external software product and rerun the VSAM IVP program, RE60TVSM.
