Issue/Introduction

How do I determine how many reports I currently have archived in Dispatch?

We would like to see not only what reports we have archived, but also a TOTAL number of archived reports.

Resolution

To find out how many reports you have archived you can run the DSEXCULP job (proc=CADSCULP) with the MEMBER symbolic set as MEMBER=DSCULP21.

This will produce the "Archive Tape Listing by VOLSER" report which will show you EVERYTHING that Dispatch has archived.

In the output, just prior to the actual ARCHIVE TAPE LISTING report, you will see some record counts that look similar to the following:

From the above counts, the number of AR-REPORT records tells you "how many reports I currently have in archive".
