Computer Endpoints are not associated with Application Tiers

Issue/Introduction

After creating data source queries and import rule mappings for both Computer Endpoint and Application integrations, Computer Endpoints are not associated with Applications when viewed in the Analyzer.

Environment

Release : 6.5.4

Component : Integration Wizard

Cause

Although these are categorized as Optional Fields on the Edit Import Rule Mapping configuration page, Computer Endpoint to Application associations require the following fields to be mapped:

• ApplicationName
• ApplicationAssignmentTierName
• ApplicationEnvironmentName

Resolution

Modify Application and Computer Endpoint data source queries and import rule mappings to include the following fields:

• ApplicationName
• ApplicationAssignmentTierName
• ApplicationEnvironmentName

Do not use NULL values in these fields. If necessary, select the column type Fixed Value and enter a hardcoded value in an unused field (e.g., ApplicationEnvironmentName).
