Issue/Introduction

After upgrading to 20.4 CUX, and starting the OC upgrade, the OC installer upgrade is saying UIM Server doesn't meet the minimum supported version requirement. The expected version is 20.4.4.0.

install_date: 2022-09-16T15:18:09, product_name_abbrev: UIMServer, product_version: 20.4.4, uimserver_lib_module_version: 20.4.4, uimserver_lib_build_date: 2022-09-05T11:08:15

Environment

Release : 20.4

Component : UIM - INSTALL

Cause

The installer found an older zero G registry that caused the error message

Resolution

Removed all older zeroG registries. The client was able to successfully install UIM 20.4 CU4 with no errors.

Examine the Zero-G registry file:

   .com.zerog.registry.xml

in the directory:

   C:\Program Files\Zero G Registry

You need to remove older product snippets from the ZeroG registry. In the file, you need to look for <products>. If you notice multiple product snippets <product></product> for a particular product with different versions, you need to remove that whole snippet from opening tag <product> to closing tag </product> for the older versions and keep the latest version snippet as is.

Please take a backup of the ZeroG registry file before making these changes just in case we need to revert for any erroneous edit scenario.
