alarm on directory age

Issue/Introduction

I would like to use dirscan to monitor the age of a folder so that it will alarm once the directory has not been updated for X period of time. Is this possible?

Release : 20.4

Component : UIM - DIRSCAN

Resolution

Monitoring a lack of current timestamp for a directory is not currently possible with dirscan.

It may be possible to script a check and write that to a file, which can then be monitored by logmon.
