Issue/Introduction

It can happen to get the following SA78 abends referring to ESPCCHK step of some jobs :

What could be the cause and how to fix it

Resolution

The reason for these abends are basically orphaned DIV blocks. Same problem also cause SVC dumps to be partial as well. It is not a dataset size issue. This problem is fixed by the following IBM APAR -
