Issue/Introduction

The client received the following messages:

+ESF937  File nnn on printer PRT1 - FTP client error for command FAPI_SCMD binary RC=2
+ESF937  File nnn on printer PRT1 - FCAI_ReturnCode=0 FCAI_ReasonCode=0x00000000       

 

Environment

Release : 14.0

Component : Spool

Cause

The password associated with the problem printer had been changed, and the Spool parameters did not reflect that change. 

Resolution

The user reverted the password, to the FTPPASS parameter already set with the node, in the system, after which the job ran as usual. 

Additional Information

Another possible cause for this error is if the FTP directory to where the file is being transferred does not exist.
