Issue/Introduction

Does Easytrieve support passphrases, and what is the character limit?

Is release 11.6 compatible with passphrase support and what is the character limit?

Also, is any maintenance or configuration/parm changes needed to implement it?

Easytrieve Report Generator, release 11.6

Resolution

The Passphrase functionality deals with passwords and strength of passwords.

Therefore, with Easytrieve being batch programs generating reports and such, there is no connection between Easytrieve and the passphrase functionality.

The character limit would be 30 characters.

No maintenance is needed; no configuration is needed.  There is currently no support for this or use for this within the Easytrieve product.
