SUMMARY:
Using the Projects Timeline to 'move' the project bar forward causes the end date to go far into the future. It is understandable that the Staff, Tasks and Assignments will move and adjust based on the new dates, but it seems as if the end date should not go out as far as it did. It occurs for Projects, Ideas and Custom Investment Types (CITs). The issue is reproduced when the Start Date is in the past and not within the current per-period date range.
STEPS TO REPRODUCE:
Detailed steps to reproduce using numerical list formatting
1. In MUX navigate to Projects and select the Timeline view.
2. Click and drag a Project Timeline out for a short period (e.g. 1 month)
Expected Results:
The duration of the project should be adjusted reasonably based on the new start/end dates.
Actual Results:
The timeline start period is moved correctly. However, the duration of the project is too far into the future and not expected.
Workaround:
Use the date fields to move the investment forward.
