Your OData connection or other REST API connections are not functional after the September 2022 monthly maintenance

Cause

CHG0930467: Deprecate weak TLS 1.2 Cipher Suites TLS ECDHE RSA WITH AES 128 CBC SHA and TLS ECDHE RSA WITH AES 256 CBC SHA

Resolution

As part of the monthly maintenance, some weaker ciphers used in SSL/TLS were disabled.

Some older operating systems like Windows 2012 do not support these ciphers.  The connections from these older operating systems will fail.

Upgrade to a current version of Windows Server (preferably 2019 or 2022), at a minimum - Windows Server 2016

Windows 2012 does not support TLS 1.3.

We still have TLS 1.2 but the Cipher suites we support for TLS 1.2 are not supported by Windows 2012.
