Do the agent spool file cleanup parameters also handle std_out/err file cleanup?

Issue/Introduction

When the agent is configured to automatically purge spool files, does that include std_out/err files for command jobs?

Resolution

The spool files are created by the agent within the configured spool directory for every command job, regardless of whether the job has a std_out_file and/or std_err_file attribute. The spool cleanup parameters in the agent configuration only apply to the spool files and not the std_out/err files. There is no built-in automated purge of old std_out/err files. That has to be handled manually or with a script/bat file that could be run as an AutoSys job.
