Not able to detect SCOM Connector during installation on SOI 4.2.

Issue/Introduction

SOI UI is not able to detect the new SCOM-Connector 4.7.1 during the installation

 

Environment

Release : 4.2

Component : SCOM Connector

Cause

ERROR  [RegistryEvent] impl.ContainerImpl --- - Error occured while installing feature SCOM-Connector 4.7.1 java.lang.Exception: No feature named 'SCOM-Connector' with version '4.7.1' available

 

Resolution

Installing previous version of SCOM Connector resolved the issue. like SCOM connector version 4.5.00.

 

 

Additional Information

Error found in the log, looks like the installation cannot find the "SCOM-Connector' with version '4.7.1". Removing this connector and try the old SCOM connector version, such as  version 4.5.00

might be also that the Windows OS version your using with java is not supporting this new SCOM connector version, see here:
