Unable to change Focus option in IDB2

Issue/Introduction

While trying to change the FOCUS value on the IDB2(SYSVIEW FOR DB2) Focus Report Qualifications/Focus For THRDACTV Started By STARTUP (Accessed from R/THRDACTV Threads Identified to DB2 panel with PF6 command), status and Auth Id values can not be changed. 

What authority or privilege is needed to make the change?

Resolution

When a user initially loggs into the Insight Data Collector(DC), the default security profile of APPLS is in effect. When a user with the default APPLS profile connects to the DC, Insight will cause the AUTHID field on the FOCUS screen to be set to the first three characters of the user's authid and the FOCUS function will be set to ON.

In the upper right corner of the active thread list screen, the following phrase should be seen: FOCUS ON And the user will not be able to turn it off, since the APPLS security profile is in effect. This parm in the APPLS profile controls this feature: AUTHID='*3',  to remove the restriction for the users with APPLS menu by updating the AUTHID='*3' to AUTHID=' ' or by creating a new APPLS2 with the suggested change and leaving the APPLS untouched.
