Moving to use passphrases in the external security system.

Does DADS Plus CICS support passphrases?

Resolution

DADS Plus CICS does not have any passwords or security features. For that reason passphrase is not applicable for DADS Plus CICS. DADS Plus CICS runs inside of CICS. Typically clients use external security packages which requires users to signon to CICS using the CESN transaction in order to use any of the CICS or DADS Plus CICS functionally.
Most clients use external security to secure the DADS Plus CICS transactions and only allow access to authorized users. No additional DADS Plus CICS maintenance or PTFs are required.
